Plain bridal bouquet

Wedding floristry autumn

The following flowers (botanical names) and materials were used:

  • Astilbe x arendsii
  • Ophiopogon jaburan (beides Barendsen)
  • cord (Vivant)
  • cardboard
  • Gardinenring
  • OASIS® Lady Plus Bridal bouquet holder
  • hot glue
  • Floralglue

This is how it is done

Step 1

Water fresh flower foam area of the bridal bouquet holder. Cut out a matching ring of the sturdy cardboard.

Step 2

Glue snake beard onto the cardboard ring with floral glue. Glue two curtain rings together, unwind with grass and put bridal bouquet holder through the grass cuff. Attach wrapped curtain rings to bottom of cuff as stoppers. Wrap stem with twine and glue in place using hot glue. Stick astilbes into the watered plug foam.

Step 3

To re-water, divide handle and place in a water-filled container.

Intended use & application tips

For wedding floristry. The plastic grid provides flowers with support. Long stems should be additionally supported and anchored to the plastic grid with wire. When cutting, make sure that the ends of the flower stems are pushed far enough into the foam for optimal water supply.

The finished bridal bouquet will last longer if it is sprayed with OASIS® Clear Life to reduce evaporation.
